Over two summer breaks at Birkbeck, we completed a fire door refurbishment and replacement programme.

The project included supplying over 90 new doors and repairs and upgrades to over 300 door sets on the campus.

During the project, LGCS FITOUT took instruction to complete fire compartmentation works and installation of 30 and 60-minute drywall partitions, this element was an LGCS CD portion. With COVID-19 challenges during the scheme, LGCS worked with the client to successfully, on time and on budget.
